Corning funds national merit scholarship
February 2009
Corning offers its U.S. employees a way to reduce the financial burden of their child’s college education through participation in the National Merit Scholarship Program.
This scholarship program is administered by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), an independent, not-for-profit organization. The program’s goal is to provide financial assistance to employees’ children by recognizing the high academic achievements the students have reached. The scholarship provides $2,000 a year for up to four years.
Corning has been participating in the program since 2001.
