Harrodsburg Team Spirit Makes 'Relay' a Success

Employees at the Corning Display Technologies plant in Harrodsburg put their commitment to teamwork and service into action, raising more than $12,000 in donations for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life program. Relay for Life – which raises funds for cancer research and support programs – has become a yearly tradition at Harrodsburg.
Plant employees from all payroll levels started early in the summer to raise funds for the Relay for Life campaign through various events and challenges. The grand finale came with the Relay for Life Event Night on August 14 and 15. The event brought teams from across the community together to camp overnight at the Old Fort Harrod State Park to take turns running or walking around the track.
